SMILES will be worn and frivolity will reach great heights when the life and times of 1850 England are reborn at Little Theatre, Deloraine.
Music Halls were scattered across London in the late 1800s and provided entertainment such as singing, dancing, drama and comedy.
Attendees were seated at tables in the highly decorated halls, and could drink, smoke and involve themselves in songs.
This month Little Theatre will be transformed into such a place.
A group fund-raising for the Great Western Tiers National Park campaign have banded together to reproduce this old time music hall Brittish tradition.
Director Helen Hutchinson said the group was discussing fund-raising ideas when she made the suggestion "how about a music hall?".
"The others' didn't really know what I was talking about, then everyone got interested and excited," Mrs Hutchinson said.
She said there will be over 20 different acts, including song, some in which the audience can join in, comedy and story- telling.
